Worship Team Building Monday, June 30th (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) $49 per person The purpose of this class is to help build and strengthen the worship team or choir to become more skillful in leading the congregation in intimate and expressive worship; to help develop the skill and mindset to achieve and maintain unity and to be more productive in preparation. This class will teach worship team members to go to another level in their understanding and expression of worship both in the spiritual and practical areas of the worship ministry, which in turn will help the congregation rise to a higher level in worship. It will cover effective communication and building relationships of trust and respect as well as how to respect and understand diversity. It will present techniques to help build confidence so that the worship presentation is consistent and without distraction and techniques of how to sing with unity and strength. Other topics covered will be proper planning and productive rehearsals, creating the balance between practice and fellowship, and emphasizing and supporting team goals. This class will address how to practice continuous improvement and how to assess and develop emerging and current leaders in their current leadership styles and skills Antonia Lawrence Antonia is a worship leader, recording artist, songwriter and instructor. She has over 25 years of experience in the worship ministry. Her desire is to lead the body of Christ in genuine, authentic and expressive worship. She also has a desire is to mentor and instruct those who have been called to be a part of their local church worship ministry. She is a regular instructor and worship leader for the International Worship Institute in Dallas, TX; worked with Victory World Church in Norcross, GA a church of 4,000 members, for 10 years as vocal and choir director. She is now working with Victory World Prayer Center in Auburn, AL and Director of the Worship.
