Songwriting
Monday, June 30th (1:30PM – 4:30 PM)
$49 per person
The inspiration for writing songs has a mind of its own; you never know when it’s going to drop in on you. But without basic creative disciplines, those moments can come and go, and potentially great songs can be lost forever.

In this interactive class, you will be challenged to learn and diligently follow the process of 1) identifying and preserving those elusive first impulses, 2) developing the best of those impulses into sketches, 3) working the best of the sketches until they become almost-finished songs, 4) bravely de-snagging the best of the almost-finished songs until they become finished songs, and finally 5) sharing the best of your finished songs with as much of the human race as possible.
