WORKSHOP TRACKS
We take training seriously. So, we have organized all the workshop presentations into tracks which correspond to specific roles and ministries.
PASTOR TRACK
Jack Hayford, John Stevenson, Jose Dugand, and other pastors will share insights from their own pastoral ministry to give you entrance to a new way of caring for and leading God’s people.
Some of the titles:
▪ When our Programs Collided with the Presence
▪ After the Fall: Responding to Leadership Failure
▪ Are Pastors from Mars? Are Worship Leaders from Venus?
▪ The Pastor as Worship Leader
WORSHIP LEADER / MINISTER OF MUSIC TRACK
Some of the best and most respected worship leaders in the world are teaching at the IWI. Eddie James, Leann Albrecht, Ross Parsley, Morris Chapman and numerous other worship leaders will open windows to bring fresh air into your leadership. Be there when they explain:
▪ The 21st Century Worship Leader: Bureaucrat or Seeker?
▪ Moving Beyond Consumerism
▪ Are You a “Paid Worshiper” or a Presence Person?
▪ Finding Rest and Joy as a Prerequisite to Leading Others
WORSHIP TEAM / MUSICIAN TRACKS
Yes, this year is about the Presence, not professionalism. But, you still need to find that zone of “the skillful musician” (II Samuel 16:18). Good news: some of the best musicians and teachers in the Christian world will be there to help. Find excellent and transformative training for:
▪ Guitar
▪ Keyboard
▪ Drums
▪ Percussion
▪ Rhythm guitar
▪ Voice
WORSHIP TRACKS
Most of our tracks are for worshipers, not necessarily worship leaders or professionals. So, if you want to find higher and purer expressions of worship, these tracks are for you.
SONGWRITER TRACKS
Songwriting is the result of a special gift or grace. That lineage includes Moses, David, Martin Luther, John Wesley, and many other Heaven-earth touch points. So gather around the fire and listen to David Baroni, Steve Fry, Gerrit Gustafson, Morris Chapman, and other songwriters. You will never be the same.
TECHNICAL TRACKS
Yes, we know that Jesus, Paul, Peter, and Charles Spurgeon didn’t need sound systems or amplifiers or lighting when they ministered. But, we do. So, we’re bringing the best of those who understand how to create environments of worship on earth. Join Vic Thomas and his team of technical leaders as they take you deep into the mysteries of:
▪ Sound
▪ Projection
▪ Lighting
▪ The Internet and Worship
▪ DVD
▪ Recording
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TRACKS
One thing is certain; everyone who grows up passes through childhood. So, how does the church speak into and shape the lives of children? How do we assist the maturation process related to worship? Come and listen to those who have truly mastered this art. They will open new possibilities which could radically alter your approach to children’s ministry. |
